Pedernales Falls State Park - Revisited

Pedernales Falls State Park
Johnson City, TX
February, 2010

My son and I have been to this park on a Cub Scout trip a couple of years ago.

I really wanted to take my wife and daughters to see this park and show them the falls. We got lucky and were able to join two other
families on this weekender. We were worried that we would
not be able to get three RV spots together but we made it happen.

The three RV spots were prefect. The three spots basically were
attached. There was lots of shade with good size sites. We were secluded away from the park road and other sites. This allowed the kids plenty of space to play without having to go too far away.

We had some excellent Texas Winter camping weather.....a little sun with temperatures in the 40 -50's.

The river was up with all of the recent rains and it amazing to see the difference bewtween the last time we saw the falls.

Everyone enjoyed the trip, especially the kiddos. They were
already trying to schedule the next rendevous.
