Daingerfield Texas
March 2012
This is a small state park that has about 40 RV spots. The prime spots are in the Big Pine loop. But all of them are pretty nice. The sites are level, in good shape with lots of shade and some are pretty big.
The park has a nice park store that rents paddle boats, canoes and kayaks. The park has a small spring fed clear 80 acre lake. No motor boats are allowed.
We couldn't believe how beautiful this park was. It is a hidden gem. It reminded us of a small Tyler State Park.
We give this park a 9.5 out of 10.
Pros
Beautiful
Well maintained
small spring fed lake
awesome park store
Cons
Small only 40 spots
